Chase was excited when Brent and Bree both agreed to come back to his house. They both went to go grab their things to jam and said they would be over in a bit. Chase ran home so he could pick up his house a little bit. He had recently set up his 12 piece drum set and figured that needed putting away to make room for both Bree and Brent. He tied up his music collection and put a CD of Fall Out Boy in. It was one of his favorite CD's. He had a rather large collection of both CD's and books in his apartment. Books were in his room though.
He left his music room but let the door stay open and left the music playing so you could hear it throughout his apartment. He had very nice stereo's. Another weird thing about his house considering he didn't have a bed. his living room consisted of a couch, and recliner, and a television. He had an end table between the two seating. That was about it. They weren't bad or anything. The living room looked like any other normal one. It was his bedroom that was horrible, but he didn't think either of them would go in there so he didn't have to worry about that one. Hopefully.
Chase sat down on the couch and waited for one of them to show up and save him from his boredom. If he was bored he would think about Mori, then he would get nervous, and that was just a bad idea. So he focused on the music and the drum rhythm that went with the songs.

Okay, so Bree hadn't really known what she was thinking when she agreed to have a jam session with Brent and Chase. Maybe it was all the happy in her body at that moment messing with her thoughts. Maybe that was why she agreed. She decided to get changed first, just to delay things a little more. She hoped the guys wouldn't mind if she was a little later than they expected. Bree had never been good with timekeeping, anyway. So she had an excuse? Maybe so.
By the time she was dressed and completely ready, only ten minutes had passed. Her smile faltered a tin bit. Really? Only ten? She hadn't delayed by a millisecond? Whoops. Now she didn't have any excuse to be late. And she couldn't just ditch. That wouldn't really be fair. She was bored as hell, anyway. Maybe this would give her something to do other than think about what happened outside the florist the other night with Samson.
It had just been so...unexpected. Bree never thought she'd do what she did after what had happened the night before that. It was really odd. But now, for some odd reason, she couldn't seem to get it out of her mind. And not in a bad, guilty way, either. This felt...strangely right, for some undetermined reason. It made what happened between her and Shane old news. She'd been drunk with Shane, anyways. Not with Samson. With Samson, the pair had been completely sober and aware.
She shook her head slowly, lifted up Skye from the stand (yes, she'd named her guitar. Problem?) and put her in a guitar case. Not really a special guitar case; just plain black, with a few band stickers on it. Just the good ones, too. A Panic! sticker here, a My Chem there. Just...yeah, it really wasn't anything special. Skye was the special part.
She lifted the case after closing the lid, took a deep breath, and made her way over to Chase's place. Well, what she hoped was Chase's place anyway. Because, if it wasn't, that'd be awkward. A random girl turning up on a doorstep with a guitar? Yeah. Not strange at all. She could be door-to-door busking, for all they knew. Although that was illegal, and even if it weren't, Bree would never have the nerve to.
She knocked timidly on the door, hoping that maybe Chase hadn't got home yet. It was going to be really hard for her to do this, because, hello, people would be listening. And, well, Bree was...not audience-friendly. To say the least.

Well, he had promised Chase one anyway but still... Brent was once again leaving his house for a reason besides work. Yeah, it was a big surprise. Another thing that he found a little odd was that Bree had agreed to this as well, despite her thing for not playing in front of other people. Well, it wasn't like he or Chase would laugh at her even if she did do something badly. He doubted it was even going to come to that though.
Looking in the grimy mirror that hung above the mantelpiece in his living room, Brent undid the top button of his shirt and loosened his tie a little. Then, feeling a lot more comfortable, he picked up his guitar case which was in an okay-ish condition considering he hadn't used it in a while. It had taken Brent a whole lot longer to find his case than his actual guitar, Ronnie
Brent hadn't actually taken too long at all since Bree was at the door to Chase's house by the time he arrived. Well, he hoped that was the case. "Am I actually on time for once in my life?" he raised a disbelieving brow at her, "Or are we both late?"

Chase heard the knock at the door and tried to not practically run to it to answer. He waited a few seconds before going and opening the door for them. He was trying not to be completely lame and love the idea of having friends coming over. He hadn't... it just didn't happen with him. He didn't exactly have friends so this was entirely cool to him.
He opened the door with a smile. "Hey guys! Come on in. I have a music room that everything is in so we can just go in there. Do you want anything to drink or eat or anything?"
Chase asked so he would be polite. This was just too awesome. He left the door open and walked in so they could follow. "Brent you've already seen my apartment. But Bree, the bathroom is there, kitchen there, that's my bedroom and this is the music room." Chase told her, pointing to the rooms as he mentioned them. Nothing special, but it was home. To Chase, it was all he needed. Something to keep him safe when it was dark and scary. Strange. He really didn't act like a demon. Mori was so right. Well, all hopes of Bree having gotten the wrong house and having an excuse to go home and being able to thank god that she didn't have to do things were dashed when she saw Brent walking up the hall. Oh she'd gotten the right house alright. Unless Brent's sense of navigation was just as awful as hers could be, then she'd found Chase's apartment.
She snickered slightly. What made Brent think that her timekeeping had improved in the year that he hadn't seen her? Because it hadn't. No way. She shook her head at him. "I hate to break it to you," she laughed, "but my sense of time hasn't improved from the last time you saw me. So...we might just both be late." Hopefully Chay wouldn't mind, though.
And, thankfully, when he swung open the door, he didn't seem to care. Just seemed happy to see them, really, which Bree found rather sweet of him. She shook her head at his question. "Nah, I'm alright, Thanks Chay." she said to him, smiling. It was like he'd never had people at his place before; he just seemed...quite excited. He'd probably been on Earth longer than she had; by power of deduction, it was kind of obvious that he'd had at least one person back at his place before. But still, she found it pretty cute that he was so happy. It looked like a pretty cool place, too. And the Fall Out Boy CD playing in the background only made that better.
But the weight of Skye was pulling down on her arm, kind of reminding her why she was here, so she started to feel a little self-conscious. She nodded as she was shown where the bathroom and stuff was, though she was pretty sure she knew. His apartment was quite similar in it's layout to hers, so she was kind of familiar with where everything was. But it was better to be certain, so she was pretty glad Chay told her where everything was.
"Right, okay." she said, nodding. She fiddled awkwardly with the hem of her dress, not really sure what to do next. Should she just sit down or get out Skye or something? She wasn't quite sure. She quirked an eyebrow at Brent, as if this would give her some kind of clue. She knew it wouldn't, but would he be as clueless as she was? ...If she was really honest...she didn't actually know.

"Typical." he rolled his eyes at her. Well, if they were late then Brent doubted it was by too much. He had actually thought he'd been reasonably quick in getting ready. Kind of. If you didn't count the time he'd spent searching for his guitar case.
Woah. Overload of cuteness happiness right there when Chase opened the door. And Brent was not staring at all. He was just startled by all of the happiness... or something like that. "Y-yeah... I'm fine too." Brent soon got distracted by Fall Out Boy though and almost smiled. They were one of the bands Brent had first fallen in love with, that love had never once faltered over the years. "I approve of your choice of music." Brent smirked. He was very nearly humming along... well, he couldn't actually stop himself when Chase was busy showing Bree around. They weren't going to notice. It wasn't like Brent knew all of the tunes, or lyrics, or CDs, or track listings or stalkerish facts about the band members. No way.
When he noticed an awkward-looking Bree quirk a brow in his direction, he did the same back, unsure of what else to say or do. Part of Brent's mind was already far away in Fangirl Land because of Fall Out Boy.

Chase nodded at their responses. He wasn't exactly nervous about playing in front of them. He wasn't shy or anything with people he knew wouldn't hurt him. He was actually fun to be around when he opened up. He thought so at least. It took awhile for Chase to actually trust someone though. Actually... Chase didn't trust anyone. He wasn't sure he actually could trust anyone. Maybe it was a demon thing... he couldn't trust. Or maybe just a chase demon thing since that was kind of a reason for him turning.
"No being awkward. Just relax Bree."
Chase said as he sensed she was worried or something. He remembered how much it took Brent and Chase to get her to sing in front of them before and Brent and Bree had been friends for awhile now. She must be shy about her music or something. Chase respected that. When Brent mentioned the music Chase had almost forgot about the music playing in the background. "Oh... thanks." Chase told him, trying to hide the blush he didn't know why was there and walked into his music room. "There are some amps and shit up there to plug in if you want to. I have most everything music wise. There should be a mic or two as well. I don't use those as much though. I mainly just use the stereo system and my drums." [/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Clicky! || Notes: Little Einsteins might be on as I'm writing this and I'm laughing. || Tagged: Brent and Bree

With every second that passed, Bree was getting more and more uncomfortable. Ugh, god, why was this so darn awkward? She wasn't used to this! Normally, she easily avoided awkward situations, but here? When music was called into the question? Bree was just a whole mess of awkward. She didn't really understand why; it was no bit deal, was it? It couldn't have been. This was just a casual jam session. Only two other people. One was her best friend. This was easy.
Or was it? Bree never really thought she was any good at music; for her, it was more of an outlet and a hobby than it was a talent. And, if she wasn't any good at music, why show anyone how much she sucked at it? Wasn't the point to hide the weaknesses and show the strengths? Apparently not, considering what Bree had agreed to do. How silly was that? Honestly, if she'd known how awkward it was going to be for her, she never would have agreed. Nope, not in a million years.
Well, okay. Being told to relax only set her on edge that little bit more. Maybe she was being stupid, but...oh god, was it really that obvious that she was kind of freaking out? She hoped not; she felt enough like an idiot as it was. But, hey, Chase was a Demon. He could probably sense her negatives vibes and shit. Maybe she did need to calm down a little bit. It was just these two, right? Wasn't like it was a huge crowd or anything. That would make a difference. She attempted a smile. "Okay..." she said, kind of maybe relaxing the tiniest bit.
She nodded in agreement with Brent. Yes, Chase's taste in music was amazing. Fall Out Boy? Yes. Even though they'd been on hiatus or whatever it was since she fell to Earth, she still loved what she heard by them. They were a really good band; there was no denying it.
She nodded (yet again) at Chase's words. Okay, so there was a music room in this place somewhere. So...what now? Did she just go in? Or did she wait? She wasn't quite sure what to do, but now that her mind wasn't in such a flap about having to do this, she could think it through. So, from the way Chase had described it, it was kind of like...ugh, she wasn't sure. "Right. Okay. That sounds cool." she said, and uncertainly started to go where Chase had gestured the music room to be.

Brent thought he noticed Chase blushing after his comment on the music playing. How could Brent not comment? It was Fall Out Boy, after all. But Chase wouldn't be blushing because Brent hadn't really said anything blush-worthy, it was clearly just his mind playing more tricks on him... well, they were much different tricks than usual. But Brent shouldn't be thinking about that; he didn't allow himself to think about what he saw in the dark when he was by himself because... Brent wasn't crazy. He was just a little mentally scarred. They were far from being the same thing... And now he'd gotten distracted from whatever was going on at the moment yet again.
He did notice that Bree looked a little more relaxed now, which made him think he should probably smile or be nice or something like that but he didn't really feel like it. He didn't really view the fact that smiles rarely came automatically to him anymore as a necessarily bad thing, betraying your emotions could lead to someone taking advantages of your weaknesses, right? That and it was too much effort for Brent. He hadn't needed to show emotion when he'd been by himself. It wasn't as if he was the most social of people now either.
Chase was heading towards what Brent presumed to be his music room, so he decided to follow him even if he hadn't been paying attention to anything that had just been said. Bree was walking kind of slowly though, and still seemed rather hesitant, so he grabbed her arm and dragged her along so she'd have to keep up with his own pace.
