Y'know, for once, Brent thought they maybe he wouldn't have dinner by himself. And this dinner wouldn't consist of Pot Noodles and maybe some stale-ish bread, because it would actually be quite a nice experience to be able to eat something other than cheap, simple shit. At first, Brent had kind of been considering asking Chase but... no, that was just bound to be awkward and Chase would probably be too busy with his boyfriend anyway. So Brent was more than happy -well, as happy as he actually could ever get- to go and ask Bree instead. Bree wasn't going to go and be all 'jealousy'-causing with her boyfriend. No. Bree was nice.
When he reached the First of Spring, Brent was already scowling; some girl was there, one he hadn't met before and whom he assumed to be a new employee. It wasn't like Brent was going to bother asking her about it, let alone introduce himself. "'s Bree here?" he inquired, his words quiet and grumbled, as per usual. He fixed the girl with a cold, blank stare as he waited for an answer and tapped his foot against the floor impatiently. Brent was hoping he hadn't walked all the way here for nothing, or he knew he'd end up in a fouler mood than he normally was in.

It had been a long day today, Bree went home early to catch a break and spend the rest of her time with her 'boyfriend' as Taylor liked to call them, and who she still had to meet. Bree trusted Taylor to lock up at closing time and try not to destroy anything, thankfully Taylor wasn't in .a bad mood. She had just finished with today's jobs when someone came in. Tall boy, well he was a grown guy however he had that look on him which made Taylor think 'Boy'. She made sure not to snap at him, instead she just looked at him to see what he wanted.
He impatiently began tapping his foot, and the first words she hears from him are. "Is Bree here?"
Still tapping his foot it didn't help that he was giving Taylor that cold glare, so reluctantly and trying not to glare back she just replied in a hollow tone "No sorry, she went home early. Did you need any thing?"
Taylor tried not to glare back and just tried to make it seemed she wasn't bothered being glared at, this didn't seem to work since Taylor began to glare back a little. 'Defiantly a little boy.' She thought

Brent was glad that whoever this was didn't bother with the falsely cheerful tone and overly-bright smile most store clerks attempted to give him. That irritated him to no end, even more than genuinely happy people did. Brent wasn't annoyed by other peoples' happiness, per say, it was more like he was jealous of it. Still, though, Brent often was hard to please so the fact that the girl was now glaring back at him sent a wave of anger through Brent. He managed to keep control over it but the everlasting urge to set something alight became slightly harder to bear. Brent would just have to deal with it, he wouldn't dare to damage Bree's little florist.
His foot stopped tapping against the floor and Brent's glare subsided. A small, forced smile that look far more like a smirk replaced the glare. Brent's displeasure was rather obvious. "No. Nothing you could ever assist with anyway." his smirk widened. Brent kind of wanted to work out who exactly this was; his excuse for letting his curiosity get the better of him was that, honestly, Brent had nothing better to be doing at the moment than attempting to wind up Bree's newest employee.

Ok fair enough he was glaring, but when that got replaced with a smirk which couldn't be ignored, Taylor wasn't happy. She thought carefully before acting, Bree had taught her to at least keep her mouth shut before she said anything rude or false to anyone, even her sometimes. Taylor breathed slowly and counted to ten, it looked like her little saying was about to slip.
"Fair enough 'Little boy' however if you need anything, just let me know."
Taylor smirked back, she knew not all guys, apart from ones that had little tantrums once in a while, would hate being called 'Little boy'. She only used this if guys annoyed her or do it to seriously annoy them. Taylor went back to behind the counter and fiddled with the pen on the desk, she smiled to herself she knew that some of the costumers were generally nice and polite, while it couldn't be said for this one.
Taylor sighed and didn't look back at the guy who probably had a really sour look on his face which could turn milk sour. This day couldn't get any worse.

The girl almost looked like she was trying to calm herself. Brent held back a chuckle and glanced over at her again to see what she was going to do next. Not knowing her at all, Brent felt like he couldn't even predict what she was going to do. This couldn't be anyone dangerous though, they'd been hired by Bree. Brent had to trust her judgement, she was a Fallen of Honesty.
'Little boy?' Had he... had he just heard her correctly? Yes, Brent had been called far worse names in the past but still. It was Brent, sir, or Mr McKinney. Anything else would be faced with a consequence. But Brent was limited when it came to choosing one. Physically he was rather weak and wasn't very skilled with his powers when it came to using anything but fire and he didn't want to risk damaging Bree's shop. Ah, well, if the worst came to the worst he was sure he'd be able to pay for anything he ruined. Brent thought that he would possibly be able to keep his pyromania at bay for now, but his palms were beginning to heat up already.
The smirk remaining on his lips, Brent took a few steps closer to the girl. He took joy in the fact that he was a good few inches taller than her. "I don't think you're in a position to be calling anyone little, honey."
[/b] he snarled at her, meaning it as a warning more than anything. Brent was short-tempered, something that most people didn't take very long to catch onto but they usually regretted not noticing when they were set alight.[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] Outfit: Clicky! Taylor sighed, he was right she wasn't in any position to call him 'Little boy'. Taylor stopped fidderling with the pen and set it down, Bree taught her one thing when she came here, even if you don't like the person at least she some respect and try not to destroy anything, and this included Bree's shop.
"Yeah you are right, I have no right to say what I said. I....a.polo.gize."
It was hard for her to apologize however at least she said it. He did look like someone who won't be so forgiving, great well done Taylor. Taylor slumped down on the seat, and looked up to the guy still standing.
"Look, seriously if you need anything I can call Bree if you need her. Or if it is something that I can do just tell me, because soon I am leaving."
Taylor carefully got up from behind the desk and walked round to the back, it didn't mean to come out rude, but knowing her she would find it difficult to be nice someone who could be a total jerk.
