Yuki was seriously thinking of reconsidering this whole "date" thing. He didn't know what had gotten into him. It was just so easy to talk to someone as good-looking as his date, Chase, via text. Face to face interaction... wasn't exactly Yuki's strong point. And there was no way Chase would accept that they did this whole thing through phones... apparently one of the biggest no-nos of first dates was using your mobile during it anyway. Oh, god, what if sakuu92 found out about this? No. That was impossible. She lived miles and miles away. And they were just... dating on Warcraft, y'know, they met up every Friday at 10pm, his time, and went on a bloody rampage together. Not exactly a serious relationship. But. Whatever. He was here. At the Bistro. About to go on a date. A serious, proper and real date. Yuki could feel himself getting clammy hands already.
The Fallen was sat at the table away from the window because, god, he didn't need Jean or Isaac spotting him out with a guy on a date. They'd probably tease him endlessly about seeing a man, about dating, about wearing something other than what he slouched around his room in and about how he'd done his hair. He'd actually bothered to wear a green v-neck he hadn't put on since forever with a shirt thrown over it, some snug black jeans and a pair of converse. He'd teased his hair so it didn't lay flat and lifeless on his head but, instead, curled slightly with its natural kinks. He felt good in his current attire but... still felt like he was going to die.
Like, what if he choked on his food? Accidentally stabbed Chase with a fork? Tripped the waiter up? Okay, okay, okay... he was overthinking this. It'd go fine. He just had to... breathe. And relax. Chase was sweet and he was handsome. He couldn't fuck this one up with his awkward oopsies and nonsensical babbles. Yuki stopped fidgeting with the napkin he'd folded and unfolded a million times and forced his hands still on his lap. Normal people dated. He was normal. This wasn't anything big. Just a date. His first date. Perhaps a bit of nerves was allowed in that case. But, seriously, if Chase stood him up or something he was never "socializing like a normal person" ever again.

Chase wasn't sure why he was doing this. He didn't know if he actually wanted to... but he did. It was the principle of the thing. He wasn't going to think about the fact he was kind of using Yuki. He was cute and he seemed incredibly nice... but shy. Chase could relate to that. He was shy as well. Most of the time. He tended to be less shy around Brent. He wasn't sure why. Maybe Chase thought that Brent would protect him if anyone was mean to him. He was pretty positive Yuki wasn't like that though. He was too awkward to be like that.
He walked into the Bistro and looked around for the cute Asian he was on a date with. He had made sure to dress nicely. Bree had helped him pick out the outfit he was wearing and he liked it. He loved different colored jeans. He wasn't sure why, but he was practically obsessed with them. He spotted Yuki rather quickly and smiled as he did so. He was still adorable, whether the reason Chase was out with him right now or not was a good one, he was adorable and this was worth it. Chase was tired of Brent not even acting like he liked him. He was tired of it and wasn't sure he wanted to be in a relationship with someone like that. Even though he was pretty sure he had fell so Brent. Hard.
Chase sat down opposite of Yuki and gave him a smile. The clothes he was wearing were majorly cute and Chase really needed to stop noticing things about him before he wanted to drag him off somewhere private and do things Yuki probably hadn't done before because of his social awkwardness. Chase was fine with teaching. "Hey, you. You look cute."
Chase told him with a wink. He was a natural flirt when he wasn't afraid of people hunting him down and hurting him. [/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Clicky! || Notes: --- || Tagged: Yuki

Oh god. There Chase was. He wasn't going to stand him up... Yuki supposed he should feel thankful, relieved, that he wouldn't have to go through that embarrassment but this also meant that he was going to actually have to go through with this date. It was a daunting and potentially scarring situation. He wasn't scared... he was just worried that he was going to make a fool out of himself.
By the time Chase had reached where he sat, the Fallen was postively pink and was already beginning to feel too warm under his clothes. The collar of his shirt felt scratchy against the back of his neck and it was too tight on his torso, like the garment was trapping him in its fabric. Some water would be nice. His mouth felt oddly dry and his tongue turned into a useless, floppy muscle in his mouth when Chase smiled at him like that. Oh, god. He had a lovely smile. And his eyes were a beautiful shade of blue in the dim lighting of the snug restaurant.
It took a moment or two for Yuki's whirring mind to catch up to the present. Chase had said something. He'd said... that he looked cute? He inwardly keysmashed and the pink tone of his flushed face crept into his collarbones. Words. They would be nice right now. "Th-Thanks." Stuttery but it was a start... the advice he'd gotten off a girl in England with the username kat.kat. said that an initial compliment would go down well if it seemed natural. "You look... n-nice too. Your pants look good on you." No. Nononono. "N-Not that I've been staring at your... I, uh, I-I... how're you?" Smooth, Yuki. Smooth. Chase's trousers had looked nice on him as he'd walked over to the table but... Yuki didn't think it was okay to compliment his date on that. He wasn't... oh god. He wasn't a pervy person.
The Fallen replayed the video of a facepalming cat in his head that he'd seen before on Youtube. Perfect image to describe how he felt right now. Yuki looked down at the crumpled, decorative napkin on his plate and placed one of the flowers that'd Chase had given him before by the Demon's hand. "H-Here. For you... it's a Morning Glory. I-Ipomoea nil."

Oh how it was so adorable when someone was all awkward. Chase just smiled at Yuki when he said his pants looked good. Yeah... that was the point of wearing them. That was also the point of buying them along with a few other pants that Chase and Bree both thought he looked good in. He laughed off Yuki's awkwardness. "Don't sweat it. I don't care if you were lookin'."
Chase said wtih yet another wink. He blamed Brent for how he was acting. He never used to do this. "I'm great. What about you?" Chase asked him back, being friendly. When Yuki gave him a flower... well. That was just about the cutest thing in the entire world. Chase was sure his smile reached from ear to ear as he took the flower and put it behind his ear without a second thought. He leaned forward across the table to give Yuki a quick kiss on his cheek to show just how much he loved the gesture. "You are just so adorable." Chase told him honestly. That stuttering... yeah. Pretty cute. Chase couldn't help but think this was... different though. Yuki was nothing like Brent. Shouldn't he... like that? Chase shook it off and focused back on the man across from him. "So what do you do on the little computer in your head?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Clicky! || Notes: --- || Tagged: Yuki

Cry. Chase was appearing to be everything that Yuki, well, wasn't. The Demon seemed so comfortable in his skin and he flaunted it and oozed charisma and friendliness and asdfghjklñeverything. Why was he out with an awkward pixel like Yuki again? Yuki wasn't even sure he knew. All he knew was that he'd done something right because Chase was getting closer and closer and closer. Dangerously close. Oh, god.
Well. That had been. Unexpected. A kiss on the cheek for the simple gesture of giving a flower. Yuki was going to die. He was impossibly redder in the face and breathing with ease again would be nice. "I'm fine." He said in a voice so small it resembled a squeak. Yuki wasn't fine. He was far from it. He felt as if his chest was constricted with thick ropes and he felt a bit sickly in his stomach, nauseous almost. Maybe this was why he'd never really tried dating a physical person before. This couldn't be good for one's health.
"I-I, uh... internet. I fix, um, things. Electric things." Yuki paused and took a deep breath. God. This was just... talking. He could talk! He talked to Jean and he talked to Isaac. Chase was just so... cute though. And nice. And sweet. And rocking those blue pants. Yuki scratched his cheek nervously and pulled confidence out from where there was none. "I fix broken electrical objects... televisions, mobiles, kitchen appliances... c-computers are my favourite. The internet... in my head... is a bonus. I do, uh, internet things on it?" Aaaand Yuki wasn't about to tell Chase was he did on the internet. He played videogames online, was a pro at Warcraft, he laughed at stupidly funny videos, he aww'd over cats and kittens and baby animals, he lurked on message boards, trolled them, was an avid reader of Wikipedia, sniped bids on Ebay with only a few seconds to go and debated passionately on current world affairs with strangers. Not to mention the porn. Oh, god. That was definitely something he was going to keep to himself.
"S-So if you have anything... broken. I can fix. Just... call me?" Okay... this wasn't so bad. It was just taking a while to get the hang of it. Seeing a waiter pass near their table, Yuki went to call his attention but... like, his shirt sleeve caught on the empty wine glass by his side of the table. It didn't smash - thank god - but it made an awful clattering noise as it bounced and rolled over the metal cutlery and porcelain plates. "O-Oops... sorry. I'm a bit... jittery. What-What about you? And the florists?"

Chase figured that Yuki might freak a bit when Chase kissed him on the cheek... he had just been so adorable that Chase couldn't stop himself. He was so adorable that Chase just wanted to eat him up. Maybe possibly literally. Instead of thinking about that, he focused on what Yuki said he did with his mind. That was just fucking awesome. "Okay now I'm jealous. That would be like... awesome times ten."
Chase told him honestly. He wished he had a little computer in his head. It beat walking about with a laptop. That... might be frowned upon. "Oh. I'll definitely call you if I need something... fixed." Maybe this was a game to Chase now to see how awkward he could make Yuki, because he winked again as he said that. Showing Yuki that he in no way meant something electronic. Chase just laughed at the glass and passed it off as nothing. He had a strange feeling that was the first of the accidents tonight due to Yuki's awkwardness. "I work in the town library. I'm just friends with the owner of that shop and she was busy with her boy toy thing so I helped. I love books. Lotsa books. I sit at my desk and just read. It's an easy job." [/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Clicky! || Notes: --- || Tagged: Yuki

Okay. Yuki wasn't the most sexual person on the planet but he knew what that was. Innuendo. Sexual prepositioning. It was like those cheesy bits of acting at the start of a porno. Don't ask how he knew this. And, oh god, it was like that one where the girl calls the IT guy round to her house to fix ("fix") something and... Yuki wanted to hide. He wasn't ready for this. It was only their first date! Wasn't there some vague, unwritten rule that pushed anything sexual away from the first date? It wasn't that sex scared him... it was just that he hadn't had a lot of it. Okay, even that was an exaggeration. Yuki hadn't gotten any at all. And how many years had he been on Earth? Fourteen? Fifteen? And he was a virgin still. It wasn't something he wanted his date to pick up on.
Oh, god. How long had he been spacing out for? The sound of a waiter clearing his throat snapped Yuki out of his panicky reverie. Chase had been talking? Crap. He hadn't heard a lot of it. Something about books. Sitting at a desk and reading. An easy job. "Sounds n-nice." He said, glancing down at the menu passed into his shaking hands. Oh, god. That was right. They were meant to eat. How was he meant to eat like this? He couldn't. He physically couldn't. But Yuki ordered whatever was on special today along with whatever wine the waiter recommended. He didn't really know anything about wining and dining without resorting to the computer in his head.
"What else do you like d-doing besides... reading?" And if Chase said "have sex", Yuki was running away. "You have nice arms... do you-do you work out?" Cry. He shouldn't have said that. But everyone liked compliments. He didn't want this thing to be complete and utter fiasco. And anyway, there wasn't really any ignoring the fact that Chase had a nice body on him. Oh, god, why was he at a date with Yuki again? The Fallen seemed to have forgotten already.
