Max was invisible in the bar that night.... and just happened to overheard these lovely two ladies talking about the new guy in town. Okay. He was ease dropping so he could get hints on how to get them to take him home and do naughty things to him. He was a man. He needed sex no matter how much his heart was broken up at the moment. He continued to listen about the new guy in town, semi hoping this new guy was going to be him and it would make his life ten times easier, but it wasn't. In fact, the girls said they ran into him briefly and said his name was Jude. Fuck. It couldn't be Max's Jude. Could it?
He didn't think twice before rushing out the bar's door and booking it to where they said his house was. It didn't seem like anyone was home at the moment... so he didn't see the harm in sneaking in the back door to see if it was Jude or not. It didn't take more than ten minutes of looking through his shit to figure out this was Jude's stuff. Max giggled happily and went to sit on the couch to wait for him. It got boring waiting though... so he thought he'd just lay down and take a quick nap, completely forgetting that he was still invisible.

Well, there was nothing better to do, once Jude had arrived, than have a wander around the place, seeing where everything was and all that crap. It was the only logical thing to do, really, seeing as he'd arrived and unpacked. He didn't know who anyone was, where anything was. He was clueless. He knew nothing about Alderres. So, he'd decided to go exploring. First things first; see if there was anything good to do.
He'd left his house, accidently leaving the door unlocked. He was in a little "omigodIhavenoideawhereIam" trance, so it wasn't really that surprising that he forgot. Just... yeah. Well, it wasn't like everyone in Alderres would flock to his place on knowing that he'd left one door unlocked, was it? Or was it both doors? Meh, either way, it was a no. So it was okay, for a few hours. He wouldn't be gone any longer than that. If he was, something was seriously wrong.
He'd gone to town, checking out the shops, the restaurants, and even the bar. It was a nice place, quite cosy. And, hey, the people seemed pretty nice; two girls in particular. They seemed to be just starting their night out and, well, he'd asked them for directions. Which kind of led on to them giving him a whole "Welcome to the Neighborhood" speech, which he thought was really sweet of them, actually. Alderres had made a good impression on him so far.
He'd gone on a bit more of a wander, before finally going home, reentering his house through the open front door. Yeah, it'd been fine. Everything looked untouched. Which was great. That just showed that this place was pretty safe to be in, too. Wonderful. He liked it here already. It was just... a really, really nice place to be.
He took his jacket off, hanging it up by the front door, and went into the living room, where everything still looked like it was in the right place. Wait, why was he still worrying about that? H'd made it clear to himself that there was no one else who'd got into his place. He sighed, shaking his head slightly as he flopped down onto the sofa. Or rather, flopped down onto something on the sofa. His eyes went wide, and he jumped up in surprise. "What the fuck?!" he said, staring at the sofa in slight bewilderment. Okay, things like that didn't normally just happen. What was going on?

When something sat on him and jumped up from surprise. Max barely stirred. He was tired, leave him alone. He groggily looked up at his best friend. He kind of forgot he was still invisible. Oops. He rolled on the couch so he wasn't on his side and on his back instead. His friend looked rather shocked. Normally this would have made Max laugh hysterically, but he had just woken up and he was tired. So sue him. He blinked a few times, trying to get up fully before turning off his invisibility and looking up at his friend so he could see who it was.
"Hey there, Jude. 'M sleepin here. You mind, Mama?" Max mumbled with a roll of his eyes and a faint smile on his lips. Okay, he had missed his mum. He didn't know why Jude was in Alderres, but there was no way he was going to complain. Not when this house was his and Max knew he would be able to come and crash here too. Or... never leave. Yeah. That sounded like an awesome idea to him. He just wouldn't leave and have Adam come over here and then there would be three of the four and that would be awesome. Max wondered what it would take to get catnip here.

So something really weird was going on here. Jude was sure he'd sat on something that wasn't his couch and, well, it hadn't exactly been comfy. No, just the opposite. But when he looked at it, the sofa seemed to be... empty. Like whatever was on it was really small but felt huge. Or like it was... hoooold on... invisible. No, Max wouldn't be here, would he? He was the only one that Jude knew who could do that. Or, fuck, what if it was someone he didn't know who could do that?
He tilted his head slightly, narrowing his eyes in thought. What was going on? Okay, first things first. See if he was imagining things. Which he didn't think he was, but meh. It was getting kind of late; maybe he'd fallen asleep without realising and was having a lucid dream. He carefully extended his finger, going to poke whatever/whoever it was that was there. But, before he could...
He jumped back slightly on seeing the thing/person suddenly appear in front of him, and sighed in relief. Max. Thank god it was him and not some random stranger. He didn't know why it was Max was here in Alderres, or what the hell he was doing in his house, but it didn't really matter right now."Jesus Christ, Fwitty!" he mumbled, laughing at his own stupidity. "What were you tryin' t'do? Give me a fuckin' heart attack or something?" If he was, he'd most definitely succeeded. Jude didn't think he'd been more freaked out than that in a while.
And then he realised that, hey, Max was hogging his couch. The one that he'd just gone to sit on before being so rudely ... what was the word? Rebuffed? Yeah, that'd work. Anyway. Hah. Lolno. Max would share the couch, or he'd get no couch. "Oi, Fwit. Budge up," Jude chuckled. "Want a hug. Ain't seen you in foreveeeer."

Was Max trying to give him a heart attack? Possibly. Actually he wasn't this time. He was just simply sleeping and the block woke him up. Fucker. Normally he would have been ecstatic that he scared someone badly. He was just tired right now though. "Not my fault you're a wimp. You and Adam both freaked when I surprised you guys by being invisible. Should know me by now." Max didn't care that the two wouldn't have known that he was in town... but that doesn't matter. They should just know. That was what smart people did.
Slowly, Max worked his way to a sitting position and held his arms up for Jude to hug him. This was as far as Max would move for him. He could hug him while he was in a sitting position perfectly fine. "It has been forever, hasn't it. Missed you, mommy." Max mumbled, still sleepily. He hadn't gotten much sleep since he moved to town... don't blame him for being excited because he got to see more of Adam than he had in a long time. He missed him and Jude and Robb too. Speaking of... Max wondered how he could get Robb to come to town. Then they would all be together again.

That. Wasn't. Fair. Jude rolled his eyes at Max. Okay, well, he had to admit, he could be a bit of a wimp. Sometimes. Maybe just a little bit. But, hey, he'd genuinely thought that he was going to die! Well, okay, maybe die was a bit of an exaggeration; especially seeing as it would take a lot for him to actually die. Either way, he didn't know that it was Max; it could have been anyone!
"Hey!" the nephilim chuckled, shaking his head. "In my defense, I haven't seen you for the past... what... month or so?" And then he registered it. Adam. God. Adam was here too? It was like NYC all over again. The only thing that was missing was Catnip! Then they'd all be together again! ... But then... he hadn't seen Robb for a while either. What were the odds that he'd be here as well? Next to none. So... that wasn't exactly looking as likely as it possibly could.
Rolling his eyes at his friend, Jude laughed and sat down next to his friend, wrapping his arms around him. "Yes, it has been." he said yet again, just to make it clearer to himself more than anything. It really had been ages since they were all together. And yeah, he'd missed everyone a lot. "Missed you too, Fwitters." he said honestly. Man, he couldn't wait to see Adam. Robb... would be more of an issue.

Was it a month or so? Yeah... that seemed about right. Max yawned lazily and let Jude sit down next to him. It was probably his plan the entire time. Get him up so he could sit down. Trickster. Max put his legs across Jude's and wrapped his arms tightly around his waist before shoving his face in his neck. Much like a child would when they were tired and wanted to cuddle. "You did better than Adam when I scared you. If it makes you feel better. Adam shocked me. It hurt." Max mumbled with a laugh.
"What are you doing here anyways? Is it seriously a coincidence you came here? I kinda sorta followed Adam. I had to get away from NYC... for reasons. I'm living at his apartment now... but your house is better. His is a piece of shit." Max told Jude with yet another laugh. It wasn't Adam's fault... but he really did live in a shit hole. "Oh! Mum! Guess what! I learned that Span is a language of Spain and Spain is a country!" Max told him excitedly. "Adam laughed at me. But I think it was because he was jealous of my learning."

Awh, Max seemed really, really tired. It was adorable, actually; the cuddle reminded him of something a kid would do. A tired kid. Well, maybe not even a tired one. Just... a kid that wanted a hug. Jude could totally remember doing that when he was a kid. But then, he'd been a pretty cuddly child, so he would remember doing that. It made sense. At least, it did to him.
He gave a lazy snicker, and shifted slightly so that Max would be more comfortable. "Did he now?" the nephilim said, patting Max's head softly. "I can imagine it hurt. It's fucking electricity, Fwit." There was no way that someone could get shocked and it not hurting. Electricity was rally sharp, if that made sense. And really hot, too. Sometimes. Or so Jude thought. He hoped he was right; he really did. Being wring wasn't really something that the boy was fond of.
Ah. Now, the reason why he was here came up. And that kind of sucked majorly. Because, well, Jude didn't really want to end up talking about his dad and how much of an idiot he'd been not saving him. So maybe he could just use the reason he gave his mum? ...Yeah, that would probably work. As one could tell by his nickname, Max wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Even though he felt mean for even thinking that for a second, it was kind of true.
"Meh, my ma wanted me to go to uni," he shrugged, casually shaking his head. "And I kind of don't want to? It sounds borin'. So... I'm here." That sounded okay, didn't it? Yeah. It was fine. He didn't really have long to worry about that, though, because Max started banging on about Adam's place in comparison to Jude's, which he couldn't help but chuckle at. "Well, I'm glad my house is better~" he said. "Means I win. Technically." Even though there wasn't a contest. It still worked. Kind of.
A smile crept onto his face when Max starting chatting away about how he'd learned things. Well, that was great. Really, really super. "Awh, Max!" he said happily, ruffling his friend's hair. "M' proud of you. And Adam probaby is just jealous that he doesn't know things like that."

His mom wanted him to go to college? Stupid mums. Max had done the college thing. Part of him regretted dropping out of college to come here... but it wasn't like Max would have done well there or anything. His passion was music. He was kicked out of Julliard... that was the hard college. "Well. I'm glad you came here instead of going to college. College is for wimps." Max mumbled as he let Jude move so he was more comfortable. He was glad his friend didn't mind him cuddling into him now. "Yep. You won. You won the prize of me invading your house instead of Adam's." Max snickered. He was a moocher.
Max kind of thought that whatever he had learned wasn't completely right... but he didn't care. Jude didn't say it was wrong, so it probably was just Adam being jealous. Selfish bitch. Couldn't be happy for Max learning stuff. He was learning some awesome stuff. "This town is so different, Jude. Everyone is like us... we're all Nephilim's. I met a healer like you the other say. He's the one that taught me Span is and that Spain is a country. Apparently that's where he's from." Max told him. It had come up when him and Alex had gone out for drinks.

Jude internally sighed with relief. Good. He had sounded convincing when he'd said that he was running away from college. Well, he kind of was. He really didn't want what his mum wanted for him, which was a nice job and a lot f money. No, he didn't need that. And, therefore, he didn't want it. It made perfect sense to him. All he really needed was somewhere to live, food and other basic stuff. Oh, and his drum set. Couldn't forget that.
"Yeeeah," he agreed, "You're right. College is for wimps." He's never really gotten on well with private school so College wouldn't have been any better. It wasn't that he wasn't smart. No just the opposite. But he felt so... out of place at private school. Like he'd just been sent there for the sake of it, because his parents had spare money. It kind of sucked, actually.
Oh. Well. He guessed that he should've seen that coming. He should've just guessed that Max was going to invade his house now, instead of Adam's. He should've known, right from when he did the house comparison. But, ah well. It didn't really matter to him much. Jude honestly didn't mind, seeing as Max was his friend and all. So, instead of complaining, he just gave a little grin. "Yay me" he said, with a slight yawn. Wow, it was weird how tired cuddling could get a person. But then, he'd been out for a while beforehand, too.
Everyone was like them here? Well, Jude guessed that was a nice change. It wouldn't be so weird living with everyone else, then. He wouldn't have to hide his powers around strangers, which as absolutely great. He didn't really like having to keep secrets, even though he would if he had to. "That's cool," he said in response to Max's comment about a fellow healer. He'd probably meet him at work sooner or later, which would be nice. It was always great meeting new people, especially in a new place. "Did you meet anyone like you yet? Y'know, with the creepy invisibility shit?" On the last part, his tone took on a cheeky, teasing tone. Well, it was creepy sometimes. That'd been proven about five or ten minutes ago.

Jude was really ecstatic about Max staying with him... he just didn't show it. Max knew that whoever he chose to stay with say it as an opportunity to spend time with his awesome self and they should be thankful Max chose to stay with him. He was just awesome like that. "I need my mum to take care of me anyways. So it's only right for me to stay here." Max told him as an excuse. He missed his mom in England... and Jude was a good replacement. He was always the mom of the bunch anyways.
"I wish I met someone with invisibility. How fucking sweet would that be. It would be awesome to mess around with people when there were two people that could do invisibility. "And it is not creepy. You're creepy." Max mumbled with a laugh as he hit Jude in the chest lightly. His power wasn't creepy. He loved his power and what he could do. It made things in his life a lot more interesting and it gave him the chance to mess with people without them even knowing he was messing with them! It was the perfect power.

Yeah, yeah. Right. Jude had kind of cottoned on to the fact that he was the Mum out of the group, and that was before they'd even started calling him that. So it only made sense that Max would want to stay here. That, and the place was pretty nice. So it was just a given, really, that people (people being Max) would want to stay. But, seriously, Jude honestly didn't mind. He'd just have to get used to the fact that he'd been silly enough to not see that coming. "Whatever, bro," he said, holding up his hands in mock surrender and laughing.
Oh, fuck. No. No no no no no. Why. Why hadn't Jude thought about the havoc that two invisible people could wreak? He could see it now. And... it was a scary, scary thought. Why was he stupid enough to think that they'd all be safe if something like that happened? Because there was no way, no fucking way, that anyone would be safe. Ever.
"God, we'd all be screwed if that happened." the lad chuckled. pushing a hand through his tufty hair. Oh, and he didn't care about what Max thought. That power, no matter how fun it might of been to have, was creepy as hell. It was weird knowing that someone could be watching you, and you had no idea. But then, that was kind of how CCTV worked. Even then, there were cameras and tapes involved there, so you kind of new you were being watched. "Yeah. Fuckever mate." he responded, a grin on his face. "Your mum's creepy." It was a crappy insult, but nyeh, it'd do for now.

Max didn't see why two invisible people would be that bad... Sure. They would mess with people like crazy... and... oh god Max was giddy just thinking about the fun they could have. He started to say something but ended up laughing instead of getting the words out. yeah... Jude had a right to be afraid of two invisible people verses just one. That would be the end of the world as they knew it. Max was determined to find another person that could turn invisible now. It was going to be his mission in life. His one desire. And he had Jude to thank for that.
Max didn't understand... Wasn't that what he just said.... that Jude was creepy? Max wasn't understanding what was going on. "Dude... that's what I just said. You just proved me right. Thanks." Max said with a laugh before yawning and climbing off Jude. "I need to take a piss. I know where your bathroom is." Max mumbled, not thinking about that being creepy either since he had let himself in early and looked around the house. He went to the bathroom and pissed before coming back out to the living room. "Mum. I'm hungry. Make me food?"
