Skip, hop. Skip, skip, hop. Skip, hop. Right now, Natesa wasn't even sure what she was doing. Just hopping. And skipping. And...where was she going again? Nyeh, she didn't remember. Ah well, sometimes it was fun to just wander aimlessly through town. Well, wander was a bit of a loose term to describe what Natesa was currently doing. It was some kind of skip-hop-dance thingy. But she didn't care. It was entertaining, and gave her something to do on this long, boring Sunday afternoon.
Still unsure of her destination, Natesa stared down at her shoelaces as she skipped/hopped/danced along. She wondered how she wasn't tripping. Her shoelaces seemed to have sworn a personal vendetta against her, she knew it. They had to have. She was always tripping over them, especially with the weird little skip/hop/dance she did constantly. Her laces didn't seem to like that dance. Maybe she could stop? And then...and then they could be friends again? ...No. Where was the fun in that?
She didn't know how far she'd gone from the little house she was staying in. How could she know? Distances were...kind-of-sorta math. And math...just no. Natesa shuddered at the thought. No. No math. Math sucked. And so did English. And so did school as a whole. Except Music. Music was awesome. Wait. What had she been thinking again? ...Oh yeah. She didn't know how far she'd gone, just knew that she was in some kind of shopping area.
She found herself, in the next few minutes, skipping/hopping/dancing into a shop of some kind, with "The Dinner Table" written on a thingy-board above the door. From this, Natesa quickly deducted that it was a restaurant. If it were a clothes store, or anything else, it would be kind of weird. Or was that the point? To fool people into thinking that this store was something it wasn't? Maybe it was a kind of clothes store that sold people sandwich costumes and the like? It seemed convincing. Natesa had always wondered where those people got their costumes from.
But no, she entered the shop to find that it was just a plain old restaurant. Cute, but still. Boring. She huffed to herself, pointed her toes, and began her weird hop/skip/dance thing, deciding that livening up the atmosphere would be fun. Which it most definitely would be. She continued, until she felt herself bump into something. Another person she guessed.
She giggled dizzily, and straightened the trilby hat on her head, which had tilted slightly off kilter from the sudden collision. "Sorry, mister!" she laughed, patting her hat gently back into place. "I don't think I was looking, was I? Whoopsie."

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Silver turned to look back at the perpetrator that dared to bump him. It was a girl and shelooked like she wasn't there to eat. However,Silver smiled back at her and bowed shallowly, "apology accepted. However, do be careful next time." Silver said as he fixed himself again. Why was she skipping inside the restaurant? And where was the head waiter? Wasn't there anyone to have told her to behave? He sighed. Excellent is so hard to find now a days.
Silver was in his break still and decided to take of the girl. He called after her,
[/color] "Excuse me, but will to you please take your seat here and order? Are you here as a customer or just looking about?" he asked her calmly. He wasn't being rude but the other guests were already looking at her. The Dinner Table was calm and the aura was relaxing. The girl however was the exact opposite.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Click Here // Tagged: Natesa // Notes: Welcome to The Dinner Table

Natesa blinked up at the man in front of her, and internally huffed. Well. Someone had his underwear on too tight. He seemed so uptight, she'd just been having a little fun. This world was a boring place. Nothing wrong with a bit of Nattie-dust on it, was there? No, there wasn't. Well, she didn't think there was. Nattie-dust was fun. Well, really it was just Lemon Sherbert that she'd put a label over and called it Nattie-dust, but hey. Kids loved it. But anyway. Not like she had any "Nattie-dust" on her right now, anyways.
Anyway, it was boring people like this that made Natesa wish she did carry her dagger around. Her baby. It hadn't even tasted blood yet. But she decided that her poor baby didn't deserve boring people's blood. What had her dagger done to her? Nothing. And giving it blood that boring...well, it would have been vile torture. However, she still didn't really know the man. Maybe he was working? Oh. Right. That explained how boring he was being.
"Oh, don't you worry, mister!" she said, saluting. "I won't be knocking into anyone else!" She gave him her signature, mischievous smile. She liked that smile, she'd managed to do a lot of things with it. Confuse people, frighten them slightly, make them laugh...it was very versatile.
She quirked an eyebrow at the man's next words. Sit down? Order something? ...What was this?! Boredom personified?! She looked around at the rest of the room. People were...sitting. And not moving around? How? Were they magic? Had this guy frozen time or something? She knew that was possible. She'd never seen it happen, but she'd heard things. Anyway, the people were giving her...odd looks. She smiled sweetly at them all, and waved. Then she turned back to the man.
"Don't mean to be rude or nothin', but..." She gestured around the room with a wave of her arm. "Where's the fun in sitting down? I'm actually just a wanderer. Exploring a bit." She nodded. Exploring was fun. Always fun. But this place...wasn't as fun as she'd hoped it would be so far.

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Silver's patience was being put to the test once again. And it just had to be at his workplace. And just what the hell was wrong with her? Silver was tempted to call security and have her dragged out the restaurant. But it would make them look bad. Silver took a deep breath and turned back to look at her. "Little Miss, this is a restaurant and people are trying to eat their meals in peace. If you do not sit down and keep quiet, I'll be forced to call management and have you brought out immediately." Silver said as calmly as he possibly could.
Then he looked around for the Head Waiter. He was going to talk to the owner later about how annoying everyone was today. They weren't where they were supposed to be! Ugh! Silver was tempted to make the girl obey him by using his pheromones to subdue her. But there were too many people. It would affect them as well.
[/color] "Miss,I'm not going to tell you again, please sit down or leave. You are causing a commotion as it is. Disrupting the other guests and their meals." he hissed at her. She was so pressing all the wrong buttons.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] Outfit: Click Here // Tagged: Natesa // Notes: Welcome to The Dinner Table

Okay, well, since when had this guy decided he was Natesa's father? She shook her head. Nope. Nuh uh. Only her father was her father. That was kind of obvious. A lot of things were obvious, now that she came to think of it. Like how this guy appeared to be so stiff and uptight. That was obvious. She actually, laughed at his words. Not rudely, not mirthless, but her regular, sunny laugh. She genuinely found what he said funny.
"I'm sorry, mister, but the word 'quiet' is not one you'll find in my dictionary." She giggled, flipping her chestnut hair over one shoulder. It was beginning to get in the way, not something that Natesa liked. Spinning around with hair in your face? For one, you can't see. She knew that from experience, and the sensation of blindness was not pleasant. And two, Ew! Hair in your mouth! Not nice at all!
She peered up at the not-so-gentleman, and smiled devilishly. Some would assume that she had been descended from a Demon instead of a Fallen, but hey. A Fallen of Happiness in her bloodline meant that she was good at making people happier. She wasn't quite sue whether or not it would work here, but she could t least try to turn it into a joke, couldn't she?
"Alright, alright!" she said, flapping her hands in surrender. "Fine, I'll sit. Keep your wig on, mister!" She sashayed over to the nearest seat, and swung her body down into it, propping her feet up on the chair opposite.
Now, she was kind here. She waited an entire five seconds before getting up once more. She'd told the man that she'd sit. Not that she would stay sitting. So she hadn't really lied. Just twisted the words a little bit. She flicked her fringe out of her eyes, and gave the man a wide grin. "Yeah. There. Okay? I sat down. Like you asked me to." she said proudly. That was the first time she'd obeyed anyone in a while, actually. She was proud of herself, and thought she had a right to be as she continued to smile up at the man innocently.

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Silver sighed in frustration. True that she had done what he told her. But for her to sit so.. Unlady like? It was his manners killing him to correct her. He gave her the menu and looked at her, "Here'svour menu. If your here to eat, then go ahead and order. If not, we don't allow by-standers." Silver said as he was regaining back his calm and relaxed mind. Whoever she is, she had better not cause any trouble for the other customers. Then the Head Waiter came and took over. "See to it that this little trouble maker is kept watched." he whispered to the Head Waiter before he went back to the kitchen.
Once he was inside, he was able to calm down. Silver took off his white jacket and put on his white apron and chef's hat. He was going to forget about the annoying girl soon enough. And that was what he wanted. And for some reason, he was calming down. He was smiling to himself as he began to cook. he was the chef and everything he made was heaven scent. He was confident that way.

Natesa couldn't help but roll her eyes at the man in front of her. Just who the hell did he think he was? She was having a laugh. It was obvious that his pants were on waaaaay too tight. Someone needed to loosen those babies up. It wasn't going to be Natesa, but still. Someone needed to. Preferably someone not as boring as this guy. He was all the boring. He needed craziness to be completed. But still. Nyeh. Not her. She would never lower herself to that.
She sighed irritably as the guy turned his back and went to the kitchen. When she was sure that he couldn't see or hear her, she put on a deep, low, manly voice. "We don't allow bystanders." she mimicked, and flipped off the man's back. "Bystanders, my arse. I'm no bystander. Bystanders are boring."
And Bystanders were boring. All they did was...well...stand by. What was the fun in that? Standing? Looking like a complete idiot? No. There was no fun in being a bystander. No, Natesa was definitely not a bystander. What was she? She was a by....a by....a bydancer! That sounded much better! But still, she was furious that she'd been compared to someone as purely boring as a bystander.
She continued muttering angrily to herself, so tempted to follow the man into the kitchen and teach him a lesson he would never forget. Sure, she was maybe a little quick tempered, but that wasn't important. She could actually see her fingers sparking with anger. Just small sparks, not really noticeable, but to Natesa they were. She could feel them dancing off of her skin.
But she was stopped when a man she assumed was the head waiter came over, and smiled mischievously up at him. "Y'alright, sunshine?" she said, her voice warmer than her emotions. "I'll just have a sandwich, ta very much. You have bacon in there? And a coffee? Yeah? Great. High five me, oh great man of awesomeness." Her palm met the other guy's just after he'd finished writing down her order, and he looked a little stunned. He was smiling, though, so yeah. She turned him around, and gave him a gentle nudge toward the kitchen. Good. Now, she just had to wait. Easier said than done for Natesa.

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Shane was busy cooking when the waiter came in and gave him a piece of paper. Of all the things that was on the menu, the order was a bacon sandwich? And seeing the stunned look on the waiters face, Silver knew it was that annoying girl's order. Ugh! She was really getting on his nerves. She was noisy and bouncy and everything that she wasnot supposed to be like in a restaurant. Silver shook his head and quickly made what she ordered to get on with the rest of his cooking. He was going to show he why she had to be on her best behavior. This was a formal restaurant and she was being so... informal.
It took him less than ten minutes to finish. It was just a sandwich. Even if he knew it belonged to the girl, he still gave it his all. Silver never made a meal that was half hearted. It would ruin his reputation as a skilled chef and Silver didn't want that. He rang the bell and the waiter who was waiting for the order stood up and took the plate. He was amazed at how the chef prepared the dish despite knowing that it was the unruly guest's order.

The young Nephilim was beginning to get restless. Actually, it had only been a few minutes. She knew it took longer than that to make a sandwich. Even if this was a restaurant where everything should go faster just because Natesa wanted it to. Why was her power so rubbish? Why couldn't she manipulate time instead of electricity? ...Electricity, though...that was unbelievably cool. She loved sparking her fingers, just the flecks of light were enough to entertain her for hours. Besides, sparks could start fires, technically giving Natesa the ability to create fire. She loved fire, you could say she was a bit of a pyromaniac.
When the food finally arrived (after what seemed like an eternity, but was really only ten minutes) she sat up eagerly, properly almost. She was hungry, she wasn't going to turn up her nose at food. Especially food from a nice place like this. This place seemed pretty swish, she wasn't going to deny that. Everyone eating here seemed to be either quite rich or pooling their money together so that they could pay for what they were eating. Natesa didn't have to do that. She always carried a good £50 on her person. Just for security. And she seriously doubted a sandwich would cost more than that. If it did, whoever did the pricing here deserved a good shock.
When she laid her eyes on the plate in front of her, her chocolate eyes widened in surprise. Wow. The guy was actually making an effort? She didn't know how, but she seemed to have pissed him off mayjorly - pun totally intended - back there. She snickered softly as that joke ran through her head, but she shook it off. This wasn't funny. This was actually...quite nice. That he would go to that trouble despite whatever it was she did to irritate him.
"Aww!" she exclaimed in delight, clapping her hands. "This...it's so pretty! I feel so privileged!" She totally ignored the looks she received from other diners as she thrust the money into the waiter's waiting hand, then pulled him in for a quick-before-he-can-protest hug. She was odd like that. But the guy was smiling widely, so she was assuming that her grandfather's genes had served her well. Which, indeed, they had.
"Gosh, why, though?" she asked. She was a little surprised. She seemed to have really annoyed him; why was he being nice? And then she remembered. It was kind of his job. Oh well. Nyeh. She didn't mind. She wasn't going to refuse to eat. She was hungry, after all. Still, she made a special effort to eat as quietly and neatly as she could. You couldn't say that she didn't have manners, because she did. They were just...hidden away. Hardly used because...well, yeah. She found them boring.
When she'd finished, she smiled demurely. Great. She'd stopped being boring. She could now be fun once again. She made sure that she'd paid, and nodded. "Well, then, I'll be off. Keep the change, I'm outta here. See ya guys!" She saluted, and bounced over to the kitchen door. "See ya mister...um...whateveryournamewas!" she cried through the door. She grinned widely, and turned to continue her dance out of the restaurant.
