She plopped down on the counter, a price gun in her hand and a quite tired looking young woman standing next to her, with a fake arrow stuck on her head and tears rolling down her face. See... what happened was, I told Shaundi ' If we're going to go to Vegas Night, then I want to be the mobster.. and you have to be MY squeeze. But of course, with her A Personality, we got into such a huge connundrum and.. oh did you say something babe? Angel just shook her head with a smile and allowed her partner to keep up with her incessantly stupid story. Such were the troubles with working with people she didn't like.. she had to put on a smile and listen to every word out of their mouths.. and yet none of them had the decency to ask how she was doing.
Glancing down at her watch, she realized it was time to open up. Meaning it was time to stop listening to Alyna. She blew the girl a kiss and stalked out of the isles, one hand extended, the other folded across her chess and her feet waltzing her towards the front doors. She crescendo'd next to the shutters, knocking on the steel cage and smiling. Be right with you.! Had to tidy up first. She unlocked the security system, opening the gates and allowing a few customers into the fray. The first few minutes of the morning rush weren't that bad actually.. a few coffee nuts, a few people picking up CDs.. nothing major. Until of course a few ruffians came in.. looking to stir up anything but coffee. Alyna was content with letting them get things out of their systems and then going on with their lives... Angel wasn't going to let them ruin her day, she would've let them slide... until they began barking orders at her. Orders she refused to comply with.
The next thing she knew, she was thrown outside the shop and pressed against some car. Demons... aggressive ones. Immensely aggressive ones. She wasn't allowed to wear her silver in the shop.. and the pills had dulled her senses to potato. Please.. I'm sorry.. we don't have to do this. We don't have to.. You don't have to.. Burning tears rolled down her cheeks as curled fists collided with her stomach. This is where she was going to die? Outside her job with no one coming to save her? It seemed like a downer ending if ever she had read one.
